Code of Ethics

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) I follow the Code of Ethics of the American Counseling Association (ACA), these can be reviewed here.

As a National Certified Counselor (NCC) I follow the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Code of Ethics.

As a Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), I follow the code of ethics for supervision by the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE), these can be viewed here.

Addressing Concerns

If you feel that your rights as a client have been violated, complaints against a professional counselor, social worker, or marriage and family therapist in the state of Georgia can be made through the licensing board website. Other useful information, such as laws and regulations regarding counseling in Georgia can also be found at this site.

The National Board of Certified Counselors also has useful information, or if you have concerns about services received from a NCC. Their site can be accessed here.
