Counseling style
How Travis approaches the work.
Travis draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, personal construct theory, and Gottman Couples Therapy. He helps clients notice patterns, consider new ways of understanding a situation, and practice changes that can carry into daily life. His style is structured without being rigid, with room for curiosity, feedback, and the client's own expertise.
Counseling plans are individualized. The first conversations should include your goals, preferences, questions, and whether the working relationship feels useful.
